The role of the Conciliation Officer for those undertaking legal training (CO) is to liaise with trainees, legal executives, legal apprentices, patent attorneys and others in the legal profession who have concerns or issues with their training at their place of work in the Merseyside area. The CO is an experienced member of the local legal community who can be approached in confidence regarding the problem. There is no charge for the service.
Although not a director of Liverpool Law Society, the Conciliation Officer is appointed by the Officers of the Society. Steve Cornforth is Liverpool Law Society’s CO.
