Join us for the 2024 Liverpool Legal Walk!
The Liverpool Legal Walk gathers together the local legal community and supporters of access to justice to walk 5K around Liverpool city centre to raise funds for the advice sector. At the end of the 5K fundraising walk, you will have a chance to relax, mingle and network at the end point in a city centre pub and walkers will receive a drink on arrival kindly sponsored by The Barrister Group and The University of Law! There is a link to the route on Strava here.
This is a great opportunity for colleagues and supporters to come together and take part in this outdoor event after work. The money you raise goes towards the most vulnerable in society to access justice and legal advice via The Access to Justice Foundation, a Registered Charity in England and Wales (No. 1126147).
The Liverpool Legal Walk is organised by a cross-sector working party of local practitioners, The University of Law and Liverpool Law Society. Photography by Ray Farley who is kindly giving his time for this event in aid of The Access to Justice Foundation.
The organisations the Access to Justice Foundation supports help:
- Prevent families being made homeless
- Prevent destitution
- Allow older people gain the support to which they are entitled
- Support women and children who have been trafficked for domestic servitude or prostitution
