Liverpool City Council is reviewing its equality objectives and wants your views. Liverpool City Council are committed to achieving equality for all by reducing discrimination in employment and service delivery on the grounds of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation and socio-economic status.
The proposed objectives for 2020-2024 are:
- Understand our diverse communities
- Strengthen our communities and neighbourhoods
- Accessible information and services
- A fair and inclusive employer
- Reduce inequalities
- A welcoming city
How to comment
Liverpool City Council wants your say on the proposed equality objective and welcomes comments from everyone. Please respond using the online survey found here.

The closing date for comments is midnight on Tuesday 3rd March 2020.
What happens next?
All comments will be considered and included in a report that will be taken to the Equality Task Group. The Council’s equality objectives 2020-24 will be considered by Cabinet and published on their website in April 2020.
