The Employment Tribunals are now using the HMCTS bespoke cloud video platform (“CVP”) for video hearings, in preference to Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams.
CVP is intended to be accessible for users and representatives through a browser without the need for special software. There is also an app (Pexip Infinity Connect) which can be downloaded to enable access through a mobile device.
The incoming REJ has invited Liverpool Law Society’s members who practice employment law in the North West an opportunity to join a brief session to demonstrate how CVP works.
The sessions will be at 4.30pm on Thursday 2, Friday 3, Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July. They should take up to 45 minutes.
There is no need to book; anyone interested can simply join whichever session they choose. No PIN number is required to join one of these demonstrations as a guest.
To join one of the sessions simply click here or paste this address into a browser window:

The best browser to use is Google Chrome, though it should work in the latest versions of Firefox and Edge too.
