Consultation: LCR Digital Strategy and Action Plan
The Covid-19 epidemic has further highlighted just how important “digital” is to almost all facets of our lives – from business to education, health and entertainment, as well as the ability to keep in touch with others.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, in collaboration with the LEP, has drafted the City Region’s first ever Digital Strategy and Action Plan covering all aspects of digital and intended to showcase our assets, highlight our opportunities, gaps and priorities, and drive activities and investment.
The intention is to ensure that this has been widely consulted and is collectively owned for the benefit of the whole City Region.
With that in mind, the Combined Authority has initiated a month long City Region wide consultation with stakeholders across all sectors and geographies.
The suite of draft documents and survey can be found here
The closing date for responding is 13 January 2021, and the intention is to present the final draft Strategy and Action Plan to the LCR Combined Authority on 26 February for approval. They will also be presenting the working draft to the LEP Board at the next meeting on Thursday 21 January 2021 to provide a final opportunity for comment.
