In collaboration with BLM LLP and RSA Group, Willis Towers Watson are excited to welcome you to our fireside discussion with an experienced panel who will discuss their lived experiences, what it means to be a part of the “+” community in LGBT+ and where they found the inspiration to be themselves.
Paula Jefferson (she/her) – Moderator, is a partner at BLM and the head of their London office, advising on matters relating to voluntary compensation/redress schemes and civil claims, non-recent sexual abuse allegations, claims for stress, bullying and harassment at work, and international injury claims. Paula is the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) strategy committee lead for BLM and partner sponsor for their LGBTQ+ network.
William McDonnell (he/him) – Moderator, is Group Chief Risk Officer at RSA, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) champion, Chair of RSA UK D&I Council and is the Executive sponsor of RSA Building Pride. William has enjoyed 25 years in the financial sector, working at senior levels in finance and risk in blue-chip financial institutions, and is an industry expert on climate change and sustainability.
Our speakers are:
Ali Hannon (they/them) – is an award-winning comedy performer and Diversity and Inclusion consultant helping companies put the joy into business training and learning. Their approach blends skills developed over ten years performing and teaching improvised comedy, with an established track record of developing multinational executive communications in the corporate sector. They are a passionate queer activist and advocate for marginalised groups within the LGBTQ+ family.
Chris Mousley-Jones (they/them) – is a Senior Business Change Partner in the Global Business Change Office of AIG, based in the UK and has been working in project and programme management for the past 25 years, in a mixture of technology and organisational change initiatives (frequently both at the same time), mainly in financial services. They have been with AIG for eleven years, and are the co-chair of the AIG UK LGBTQ+ & Allies staff network whose goals are to curate a programme of events to foster awareness, understanding and belonging. Having spent time as a professional actor for in their twenties, Chris also is one of the few people in AIG to have an entry in the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). They identify as gender non-binary, which lies under the Trans umbrella, and pansexual.
Katie Lewis (she/her) – Katie is an employee incentives solicitor at Taylor Wessing and identifies as biromantic asexual. She volunteers with the Asexual Visibility & Education Network’s UK activism team in her spare time and in particular helps organise and run the UK’s annual asexuality conference.
