FHDRA Reforms
The Joint Publication by the President of the Family Division and CAFCASS in relation to suggested ways of managing private law work during the Covid 19 Pandemic has been considered carefully by all levels of the Judiciary in Cheshire and Merseyside. It has resulted in a reappraisal of the FHDRA system and whether the current model is meeting the needs of parents in the present circumstances. The new system will take effect in relation to cases issued on or after 14th July 2020.

Hybrid hearing orders
Please see the Hybrid hearing order template, distributed on behalf of HHJ de Haas and HHJ Parker.
This order must be completed in full for every case that has a future hybrid listing and should be sent to the judge for approval as a matter of urgency following the hearing.
