LJMU would like to offer you the opportunity to host an intern to work on a legal project for your organisation. These internships are fully funded by the LJMU Law School. These internship opportunities will be offered to our final year undergraduate law students.
You will need to complete separate forms if you are applying for more than 1 project. Alternatively, you may have a project that lends itself to a couple of students to work on. We can consider your options to meet your business need.
The internships are a fully funded 105-hour work experience with employers within the Liverpool City Region.
The internship programme provides an opportunity that allows LJMU undergraduate level 6 law students to gain valuable work experience that enables the student to discover their unique skills and talents, whilst employers discover the value of engaging an intern in their company.
The LJMU Student Futures Team is seeking hosts who can offer a supportive and structured environment that allows students to grow in confidence and enhance their workplace skills.
LJMU pays the full cost of wages and provides full support with advertising the opportunity, candidate selection, processing timesheets and payments to students.
The internship start date will be week commencing 31 October 2022 and must finish by 16 December 2022. The intern will work on a part-time basis (no more than 15 hrs per week). If you want to get involved, please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria below and complete and submit the expression of interest form via this link: https://ljmu.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/law-internships-expression-of-interest-s1-2022 by 5pm on Wednesday 21st September 2022.**
