The Liverpool Chamber’s School Business Network in-person event from 6pm to 7pm on the 10th of February will bring together contacts from business and education (more specifically secondary schools but including colleges and universities) to network and explore best practice to facilitate collaboration between both parties. Schools and businesses often find it difficult to engage and make connections, so we are hoping that the network will create a space where this can happen.
You can find out more information and register here.
The network is in partnership with Liverpool City Council, as their ‘Talent Pipeline – Liverpool Pathways to Employment’ project is being delivered in 12 schools in the City Region to improve the pathways into employment for young people. Katie Spall is looking to discuss school engagement with business to discuss pathways into sectors, the role of business in education and how the talent pipeline can be further developed to support young people. You can find out more information on Katie’s project here.
