James Evans is the Head of UK Professional Education at OurFamilyWizard. Having previously worked as a teacher, James joined the Family Law community over 5 years ago to introduce Family Law Practitioners around the country to OurFamilyWizard. James works with Courts, Chambers, Firms, CAFCASS, Mediators, Organisations and Charities to help parents with their communication. James is a member of the APPG on Family Separation, the East Sussex Resolution committee, the Family Dispute Solutions Group, the Family Law Language Project, The Parents Promise Alliance, The Family Mediation Week committee and is the chair of Support Through Court’s Family Ambassadors Board. James has been shortlisted for over 10 awards for his contribution to Innovation and Championing of supporting separated families, and recently won the Working in Collaboration Award at Resolutions 2023 Family Law Awards and Innovation in Family Law at the 2023 Family Law Awards.”

Nicola Harris is a Partner at MSB Solicitors. She is Children panel accredited  and a Resolution accredited specialist. Nicola is a Director of Liverpool Law Society, Joint Honorary Secretary of Liverpool Law Society and Board member Liverpool University Law Clinic.

Kirsty Leedam is based at Weightmans Liverpool Office, and has clients from across the globe. She specialises in Private Children Law and has strong experience supporting clients with international aspects to their cases. Kirsty worked as an Attorney in the Cayman Islands and has an insight into the dynamics of expatriate families. Kirsty deals with complex children cases involving issues such as relocation, parental alienation, and domestic abuse. She is a member of Resolution, the International Bar Association and Child Abduction Lawyers Association.

Lauren Maires has practiced in the North West as a Barrister since obtaining pupillage in 2022. Lauren’s practice includes children act proceedings, both public and private law, covering a wide range of areas. Lauren has conducted matters including hostility, domestic abuse and violence,  drug and alcohol misuse and improper retention of a child after contact. Lauren also has experience in issues involving internal relocation, external relocation and intractable contact disputes.

HHJ Janet Reaney was a barrister and member of the family and criminal departments at 7 Harrington Street Chambers, Liverpool, until  May 2019. She was at the bar in Liverpool (where she was born and grew up) from 1987 until 2019, having graduated in Law from Cambridge University in 1986, and  she practised in both family and criminal work throughout her career at the bar. She has been a Circuit Judge at the Liverpool Family Court for the last 5 years, since June 2019.
